Custom Synthesis
Working with research oriented projects
that require a multi-step organic synthesis, J-Star chemist's
are trained and ready to add quantifiable value to your
next research program. Typical projects for custom synthesis
are those with a reasonably well defined synthetic route
that require quantities in the range of milligrams to
kilograms. These projects often support drug discovery
or early development efforts. We are very familiar with
the fast pace required for these types of projects, for
which we can supply the following services:
- Scale-up an existing literature or customer supplied
synthesis
- Replace steps in a synthesis that do not perform
well
- Design a new synthesis
Customers typically use this service to obtain reference
compounds, metabolites, building blocks, analogs, larger
quantities of advanced intermediates or final compounds
for pre-clinical testing.
